Comenius Consultants (Pty) started business in 1997 as a Close Corporation (cc) and was converted into a Private Company (Pty) Ltd when Dr M Phosa became part owner in 2014 and took up his place as a company Director.  

Directors of the Company are:  Fritz  Kleynhans (Managing Director) and Dr. Mathews Phosa (Director)

Fritz Kleynhans served as an Officer with the South African Armed Forces and has 30 (thirty) years experience in the South African Defence Industry.  As Executive Manager: International Marketing – LIW (now Denel Land Systems), he was responsible for Armour Business Development in Africa, Europe and the Americas. He holds qualifications in both Engineering and Commerce.

Dr Mathews Phosa, an attorney by profession, is a leading figure in South Africa’s business and political world.  He was elected as the first Premier of Mpumalanga Province in 1994.  Following the elections in 1999, he resigned his seat in parliament in favour of focusing his attention for a career in business.  
Dr Phosa re-entered the political arena in 2007 when he was elected Treasurer-General of the National Executive Committee of the ANC until December 2012.  Commercially Dr Phosa sits on a number of listed company boards as well as a number of unlisted entities.

Comenius is registered with the South African Directorate of Conventional Arms Control (DCAC) and comply to all rules and regulations as prescribed by the controlling Law.
